BACKGROUND

It is a mystery to RCR volunteers as to how this  handsome ginger guy could fall victim to life on the street. If only cats could talk Prince Harry would have a tale to tell.  Prince Harry was spotted by the Community Cat team when they were out trapping two female cats and their kittens. He was seen running down the alley and ducking into a garage that he could barely fit under. He was very skinny and had a horrible infected wound behind one of his ears. The team immediately  prioritized his rescue knowing he was in terrible condition. Once in care, Prince Harry got the necessary vet care he needed and has made a full recovery and he has trusted his rescuers enough to show them his true personality.

Prince Harry likes to be present in his foster home, sleeping on the heated pad with another cat or lounging in a favorite cat bed or looking at the world outside on the cat tree, and he never wants to go outside again. Prince Harry has embraced the good life, the comforts of a home and the warmth of the house. Since his rescue, Harry  has not looked back. Prince Harry likes to be petted and to have his big cheeks scratched. He still startles easily with sudden movements or loud noises but in time he will adjust. Harry isn't a lap cat but then - not every deserving cat is. It took time for Harry to learn to play with toys and we wonder how he started out in life. Prince Harry is looking for the home he always wanted and deserves. It is our Christmas wish that Harry will never be left out on the street or have to worry about where his next meal will come from. The prince gets along well with the other cats in his foster home but has not been introduced to dogs or children. This fellow deserves the royal treatment and is looking for his forever home to call his castle!
