BACKGROUND

Oakley and Tux came into RCR care after they sadly lost their owner and there was no one able to take them in.  Thankfully, they were cared for by someone in the owner's circle who is vested in getting the cats good homes, and brought into RCR foster care.

Oakley is a bit shy at first but is the perfect cat companion once he warms up! Belly scratches are his absolute favourite but he also loves a soft blanket to knead. Oakley is happy to curl up next to his person on the couch or in bed and proved to be an enthusiastic fan of Love Is Blind, lol!  He is a sweet and friendly guy who love to play with his cat friends. Oakley’s moustachio is winning him lots of fans!

Tux is a lovely and affectionate gal.  She loves pets and likes to follow her humans around.  Tux gives great head butts and has the cutest little meows - she's quite “talkative".  She loves catnip toys, particularly fuzzy mice and she likes to sit on the window seats and watch birds outside. Tux is bonded is Oakley, but will need a gradual introduction to other cats.  She still has a hard time with the resident cats in her foster home and is easily startled by them and/or growls and hisses when they get too close to her.  She loves soft things and cat beds and also loves Churu Bites.

This dynamic duo has experienced a great deal of change in the short time since her owner passed away. With a little time to transition, they both have great potential to make a loving adopter very happy!
