BACKGROUND

Jolly has come a long way from when he was trapped and has become a much-loved indoor family cat.  He slowly learned to trust his foster family, and today you wouldn’t know he was trapped as a terrified feral kitten.  He is your typical teenage boy who loves to run, wrestle, and EAT.  Like many young boys he needs to be reminded when his play is getting too rough and is a very active, but quiet cat.  He has grown into a strong, handsome young man who comes running when he’s called.  He doesn’t love to be picked up but prefers to come for attention on his own terms because he does not like to feel like he is being trapped or confined.  He loves to sleep cuddled up right next to (or on top of) his foster mom in bed and curl up on a lap during down times.  He will need love and understanding as he takes the time to adjust and learn to trust his new family, as the trauma from his past still surfaces when he meets someone new, or he gets scared.  He will only continue to progress in his forever home.  He is fostered in a multi pet foster home and great with both cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. He will need to be introduced slowly, as new environments can be scary for him.
