Revenue Development Coordinator
As a volunteer, the Revenue Development Coordinator plays an integral role in Regina Cat Rescues revenue development.
You will work closely with the Revenue Development team to establish and retain donors, grants, members, and sponsorships to support RCR’s initiatives and financial goals. As a remote-based organization, you will be working from home mostly, aside from the occasional time when you meet individuals in person.
Responsibilities
Donations:
Welcome and thank all new donors.
Research potential incentives for donors and areas where RCR can focus to create new donor relationships, and maintain communication with existing donors to continue building the relationship and ensure they feel appreciated and valued.
Collaborate with RCR teams to ensure donors are provided the appropriate recognition on RCR’s website and/or social media platforms.
Keep detailed and accurate records.
Grants:
Assist with the writing of grant inquiries, proposals, and thank you letters.
Assist with the research of grants.

Memberships:
Maintain an up to date membership list, including the date they became and ceased membership status, and all current contact information (mailing address, email address, and phone numbers).
Welcome new members and send membership renewals.
Assist in promotion of memberships, working to actively recruit new members and ways to work with the community to retain memberships. Leading membership renewals and sales drives to encourage the community and current supporters support RCR’s efforts through membership status. Collaborate with RCR teams to ensure members are provided the appropriate recognition on RCR’s website and/or social media platforms.

Sponsorships:
Research potential incentives for sponsorships.
Welcome and thank all new sponsors.
Approach local businesses to see of their interest in supporting RCR’s operations
Collaborate with RCR teams to ensure sponsors are provided the appropriate recognition on RCR’s website and/or social media platforms.
Keep detailed and accurate records.
Receive, review, and response to relevant emails from the public and RCR volunteers
Commit to monthly meetings with the Operations Manager and RCR teams where you will provide an oral/written update
Other responsibilities as directed by Board of Directors
Time Commitments
2 - 4 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Age requirement of 18+ is a must, with a valid license and reliable transportation an asset
Commitment to RCR’s mission and love of animals
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as a team player
Proficient in Google software and applications
Access to phone/computer/internet/email is a requirement, as you will be provided an RCR email address, which is a primary means of communication
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to create and maintain financial spreadsheets
Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with the community
Approachable and positive attitude when working in the community as a representative of RCR
